Position: Lead Fullstack Software Engineer
Location: Remote (Candidates must be based in the Eastern Time Zone)
Contract: 9 Months (Likely Extension)
Travel: Occasional travel to Washington, DC / Northern Virginia area (Up to once per month)

DGraphTech LLC is seeking a Lead Fullstack Software Engineer to join a dynamic team supporting a leading health insurance provider. This contract position offers the opportunity to work remotely, with occasional onsite travel to the Washington, DC / Northern Virginia area. As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software solutions in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in the architecture, product support, and upgrades of web applications, with a focus on ensuring high performance, scalability, and quality.

Overview & Responsibilities:

  • Batch Programming & Web Enhancements: Perform batch programming and enhance web applications to meet evolving business needs.

  • React & Angular Upgrades: Manage upgrades for React (version 16+) and Angular (version 11+), as well as handling routine maintenance and performance optimization.

  • Product Support & Development: Provide ongoing support and enhancements for various products, ensuring they meet customer and business requirements.

  • Architecture Improvements: Recommend and implement architectural improvements to ensure systems remain scalable and efficient.

  • High-Performance Applications: Lead the development of high-performance, scalable web applications, ensuring they meet functional and non-functional requirements.

  • Independent Delivery: Work autonomously to deliver high-quality, reliable software solutions on time and in alignment with project goals.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Education & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
    10+ years of hands-on software development experience with a strong track record of delivering complex software solutions.

  • React & Angular Expertise:Proficiency in React (version 16+) and Angular (version 11+).
    Hands-on experience with key Angular libraries (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery, Material UI, Angular Routes, jest/enzyme, and Bootstrap5).

  • Java Development Expertise:Strong experience with Java (version 11+) and associated technologies, including Spring Core, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Batch, Spring Integration, and Hibernate.

  • Web Services Development:Proven experience in developing and consuming REST and SOAP web services.

  • Database Technologies:Proficiency in DB2 UDB and PostgreSQL for database management.

  • DevOps & CI/CD:Familiarity with Deployment, Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Testing (CT), and Continuous Delivery (CD) processes and associated tools.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Angular 16: Experience with Angular 16 is a plus.

  • Cloud Technologies: Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS and container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes is highly desirable.
